KANDAL: Chaktomuk Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital was inaugurated its new branch under the presence of the Minister of Environment, Mr. Say Sam Al, in Kandal province on Monday morning, 17 January.

The four-storey hospital is located in Khpob Veng village, Kampong Samnanh commune, Takhmao city, Kandal province, it will have 30 rooms, with 30 beds, with a total of 36 staff, including 12 specialists graduated from France and China.

The Minister of Environment, Mr. Say Sam Al has said at the inauguration ceremony, urging doctors to be open-minded and research-oriented to make the treatment facility effective. He hopes the clinic will become a training ground for more young doctors. "Our success as a doctor is not just about treating patients, our success is not having too many patients," he said.

The Executive Director of Chaktomuk Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital, Chhoeun Bunnarith has said at the inauguration ceremony: "In line with the trust of customers from everywhere, as well as the high standard of health care needs, Chaktomuk Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital has expanded its location and added some essential medical services to meet the needs of its customers. The brand-new building, which is inaugurated today, is a major achievement in the health sector in Kandal province, which has been preparing to provide medical services to customers with confidence and based on the core values of quality, service, Code of Ethics, Professional ethics.

The Chaktomuk Polyclinic and Maternity Hospital has received permission from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) on the agreement on the use and provision of health services at the CPA3 level to workers, civil servants and the Armed Forces on the risk Jobs and health care in order to provide quality and effective medical examinations and care in order to bring services closer to local people.
